Join us for the 9th Annual Unicorn Quest on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 10am–2pm (Rain Date: August 30th) on Main Street in North East, MD. This FREE event has tons of fun for ALL AGES and lovers of all things magical. Questers earn gems to exchange for raffle tickets towards the Unicorn Quest Mystic Prize Basket by participating in activities and making purchases with Main Street Merchants and Outside Vendors. Come celebrate all things magical at Unicorn Quest!
4 Ways to Earn Gems on the Quest
Earn gems on your quest by participating in activities and making purchases (from the confirmed lists below), then exchange the gems for raffle tickets towards the Mystic Prizes! Come celebrate all things magical at Unicorn Quest!
– Buy Items. Every $10 purchase earns you 1 Gem (at participating locations listed).
– Submit event photos in the Unicorn Quest 2026 Facebook event DURING the event.
– Participate in Gem-Earning Activities and Experiences.
– Take Photos with Characters (and present those photos at a Gem Table).
Turn in your Gems at 3 Possible Locations
– At the UQ Table on The Green by The Little House
– At the UQ Table in front of Kathy’s Corner Shop
– At the UQ Table in front of Aspen Property Management

We can’t do this event without folks like you. This is all about the kids, the community, and our local businesses. They come together for a magical day and volunteers make sure that everyone is safe, happy, and having a great time. Please join us, we’d love to have you there.

– Meet Mermaid SeaLeigh in the Mermaid Lagoon (on The Green).
– Meet the Magical ‘White Unicorn’ (real pony) between 10am-12pm beside North East Chocolates.
– Meet the Mystical ‘Black Unicorn’ (real pony) between 12-2pm beside North East Chocolates.
– Meet the Blue Unicorn (blow-up unicorn character) along Main Street and The Green.
