National Night Out 2026 is on Tuesday, August 4 from 5:00–8:00 PM at North East Community Park.

Join the North East Police Department, Cecil County Sheriff’s Office, and our public safety partners for this FREE family-friendly event!

Enjoy an evening of community fun featuring:

• K-9 demonstrations
• Drone Unit demonstrations
• Emergency vehicles and public safety displays
• Community organizations and vendors
• Food and refreshments
• Giveaways and activities for all ages

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that strengthens relationships between law enforcement, first responders, local organizations, and the communities they serve. The event encourages neighbors to come together in a fun, welcoming environment while promoting safety, partnership, and community pride.

Held each year on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out is celebrated by millions of people across thousands of communities nationwide. We invite everyone to come out, meet your local public safety agencies, connect with your neighbors, and enjoy an evening dedicated to building a stronger North East together.
